Creating a listing on GetSpaces is simple, thanks to our user-friendly onboarding process. However, optimizing your listing for maximum conversions requires a bit more attention to detail. We’ve compiled a list of tips, tricks, and answers to common questions to help you achieve the best results!

1. Listing Title, Image(s) & Description

Your listing title should be concise yet informative, including the space type, unique features, and location. This makes an excellent first impression on the search page and boosts your visibility on Google. For example, some of our hosts have opted to put their location and space type in 1 single line like this.

The above consists of the “type” of space, any unique feature that other fitness studios might not have and also the location. All these will also help with users when they search on google for a specific feature and location.

Listing images are essential. Upload multiple photos, starting with the most comprehensive and clearest image of your space. Follow with detailed images that showcase specific features. For example, a photography studio should lead with a wide-angle shot of the entire space, followed by close-ups of lighting equipment and setups.

The image below is a good example of a wide, clear image that goes at the front.

The next image is put behind to show users a closeup of their sofa amenities. However, if this picture was put at the 1st image, users browsing through the search might only thing they will be getting just a sofa + 2 chairs and a coffee table as part of the whole space. 

Hence, it is important to make your 1st image (cover image) the best possible representation of your full space!

In your description, GetSpaces generates a default version based on your activities and amenities. However, adding details such as the number of amenities, nearest train station, space description, and examples of past usage can boost user confidence and encourage bookings.

  • Number of amenities (how many chairs, tables, lights etc)
  • Nearest train station or landmark
  • Description of your space 
  • Any examples of what people have used your space for (can upload a corresponding image to back this up)

2. Having a good profile image and description

A clear profile picture adds credibility to your listing. Customize your description to share more about your brand or yourself, increasing page views and clicks through better Google indexing.

3. Utilise the FAQ Section

Include an FAQ section in your listing description to answer commonly asked questions from guests. This helps guests book more easily and improves your listing’s search indexing, increasing its visibility to potential customers. You will find it in the bottom of the description tab under your edit listing page.

4. Syncing your calendar, or using us for all your bookings

Once we are able to verify that your listing is accurate in terms of its availability, we will prioritise your listing in our marketing materials and our ranking algorithms. Having an accurate availability also helps users who are searching for spaces last minute feel a lot more confident in booking your space. Any host who syncs their calendar or commits to using us for 100% of bookings will have the “calendar verified” tag shown on the listing.

5. Showcase Your Space with a Video

Submit a high-quality video of your space to your account manager directly (without watermarks or captions) to have it hosted on our YouTube channel, your listing page, and promoted on our social media. If you need assistance, feel free to message us. A captivating video can dramatically boost your listing’s appeal.

6. Turn on Instant Confirmation

7. Getting reviews and bookings

More bookings and reviews on our platform improve your listing’s ranking. Encourage first-time guests to book and review through GetSpaces to make subsequent bookings easier. To facilitate prompt reviews, our reminder emails are sent 15 minutes before booking completion.
